WAEC Results Are Out: See How You Can Check The West African Examination`s Council Results Plus The Breakdown Of The Outcome Of This This Years Result.
The West African Examinations Council WAEC has released the West African Senior
Secondary Certificate Examinations For The Year 2021. The examinations body has
said that students can start to check their results from Monday 22nd
November 2021. According to the statement
from the head office of WAEC Nigeria, a total of 1,573,849 candidates
registered for the examination from 19,425 recognized secondary schools in the
country.
Here is a summary of
the WAEC result. According to WAEC, out of the total number of students that
registered for the exam 1,560,261 sat for the exams. Out of the total number of
students who sat for the exams, 1,256,990 candidates' results have been released
and that represents 80.56% of all the
candidates.
Also, WAEC is still
processing the results of, 303,271 candidates which represent 19.44% of the candidates. The reason for this delay is that these
candidates have some issues with their subjects. 1,560,261 candidates got credits
in a minimum of 5 subjects with or without mathematics while 1,274, 784
candidates got credits in a minimum of 5 subjects with English and Mathematics. Reports from WAEC also shows that a total of
1,539 that candidate who registered for the exams have different degrees of special needs. Out of that number 460 have eye challenges, 582 have difficulty in hearing, 362 are mentally challenged, and 59 are physically challenged.
WAEC also said that the pin and serial number required to check the result come along with the smart identity card used to write the exam.

Login to the WAEC result checking portal www.waecdirect.com. Thereafter enter your
10 digits WAEC Examination Number –This is the 7 digits number that follows
your 3-digit candidate number. Next,
enter the year of your examination, eg 2021, next select the examination type,
Next enter your e-Pin voucher number, Enter the personal identification number
and click submit. The results will show up.
According to WAEC, candidates whose results have already been processed
will be ready with the next 90 days counting from today.
